As the Director's Association recommended the stringent action on Prakash Raj for scolding an assistant director on the sets of Aagadu, the actor presented his version of the incident. Prakash Raj today (April 25, 2014) met the press in Hyderabad.

"It is true that I shot for Aagadu for a day. Differences cropped up with the film's director (Srinu Vaitla). So rightfully, the director took another actor. But sad thing is that the Director's Association wants to take action on me on the sole reason that an assistant director filed a complaint without probing into the matter," he said.

"Problem arose between the director and me. But complaint was given differently. And they are trying to take action on that. The matter has now come from Producer's Council to Director's Association to Movie Artistes' Association (MAA). I have presented it to MAA. I have not done anything wrong," he clarified.

He specifically accused that the whole issue was blown out of proportion due to a person's conspiracy. He is behind all this, Prakash Raj lambasted without mentioning the name.
