Did Naidu sell the TDP Lok Sabha ticket for Malkajgiri for RS 50 Crore? That was the impression one got from the statement of Jayaprakash Narayan. JP said, “I had all along tried my best for an alliance with BJP-TDP for I feel that Modi is the right person for the country. I also made it clear to Naidu that I would definitely be contesting from Malkajgiri. But he preferred Rs 50 crore over me and also ensured that Pawan Kalyan stayed away from campaigning for me.” What is so special about Malkajgiri that a candidate would shell out Rs 50 crore for a Lok Sabha ticket from there? But the fight is between TDP and JP there.
