Vijayawada: It’s our primary objective to defeat the TD in-charge for Vijayawada Lok Sabha seat Kesineni Nani say film producer Potluri Varaprasad’s (PVP) supporters. It is a known fact that the TDP has allocated the Vijayawada Lok Sabha seat to Kesineni. PVP’s supporters allege that Kesineni comes from a family which was suspended from TDP in 1983 for selling the party’s membership booklets. He also runs 4 buses on one permit and has many cases pending against him, they said.
The supporters also said that Kesineni was also involved in a scam where he promised to give H-1 visas to students and took money from them. They said that an individual like Kesineni did not deserve to enter the Parliament gates. They added that they will not let go of any opportunity to defeat Kesineni and revealed that PVP will soon announce his candidature as an independent candidate. Meanwhile, there are strong rumours that despite TDP issuing B form to Kesineni, the Vijayawada Lok Sabha seat will be given to the man supported by Power Star Pawan Kalyan. And it is a well-known fact that Pawan Kalyan wants PVP to contest for the seat.
