Info Post

TDP has been in the opposition for the past 10 years and it's a do-or-die situation for the party in this elections. Chandra Babu Naidu is trying hard and is leaving no stone unturned to make sure that his party wins the majority seats in 2014 elections. However, the selection of the candidates for the MLA and MP tickets is being criticized now. Sources say, CM Ramesh is one the main members in TDP who is taking care of the seats allocation. One can easily understand that the party has ignored the loyal members in the party by not giving ticket for them. Many leaders from Congress party have joined into TDP and without thinking about their own leaders who has been working for the past 10 years, CM Ramesh and his team have allocated the tickets to the Congress people who have joined TDP.
It’s a basic logic that people are fed up with Congress and the party won't be winning 2 seats in Seemandhra. On what basis can TDP give tickets to the newly joined leaders from Congress? There are lot of allegations on the party that the tickets were distributed after taking huge amount of money in many constituencies. These so called strategists have ignored the caste calculation in certain areas and went ahead by giving tickets to a major caste. Some of the political analysts are in a thought that CM Ramesh might having a secret tie-up with YSRCP leader YS Jagan and this might also be the reason for causing damage to Telugu Desam Party.

This entire scenario reminds us of Chiranjeevi's Praja Rajyam Party who has sold out their tickets to the rich people in 2009. TDP is not supporting Bharatiya Janta Party whole-heartedly and they don’t want to give tickets to BJP people as they feel that the latter doesn't have the cadre support to win. Chandra Babu Naidu is a key player in National Democratic Alliance (NDA) and even the national leaders respect him a lot because of his strategies. But the wave seems to be different and this time he has lost out to CM Ramesh. TDP has set a best example of how a party can be damaged if the corporate people take the power into their hands.
