Venkatesh will play the lead in the Malyalam remake ‘Drushyam’. According to the latest update, Venkatesh will be seen in a de-glamorised natural role in this film.‘Drishyam’ was a critical as well as commercial success in Malayalam. Meena will be playing the female lead in this remake and Venkatesh will be getting into the shoes of Mamootty.
In the malayalam film, Mammootty is seen as a father of teenage girl. Whether or not, the telugu version will be tweaked to suit Venkatesh or will Venkatesh play a father is unknown.
This movie is being produced under Suresh Productions and Sri Priya is the director for this film. The shooting for this film is briskly progressing.
