Given the results of municipal elections and MPTCs, it is clearly understood that most of the congress party's vote bank in Seemandhra has been shifted to the TDP. Many political analysts have also admitted this fact. Will the same scenario be repeated for assembly elections as well? Will TDP get into the power using congress vote bank's support?
According to the political analysts, the same trend which was seen in local body elections may not be repeated for general elections due to different reasons." It was due to Chiranjeevi's whirlwind tours in entire Seemandhra, Sonia and Rahul's public meets, some of the voters who cast their votes to the TDP in local body polls, might have voted for the congressfor general elections. Apart from this, the congress party placed its candidates in all the constituencies across the state. Although the congress party may not win these elections, it surely gets some of its vote bank back for general elections. As we know, even if a loss of single digit percentage of vote share for any political party hampers its winning chances. Will the TDP get affected with congress' shock? Let's wait and watch.
