Former Chief Minister Nedurumalli Janardhan Reddy passed away. Since few months he has been hospitalized for the treatment on Kidney issue in NIMS. Among the few, Nedurumalli is the one who served as Chief Minister, Minister, MP and Rajaya Sabha Member. Naxal attack also happend on him in 2007 and he escaped luckily. His wife named Rajya Lakshmi former minister and four sons Ram Kumar Reddy, Ashok Kumar Reddy,Gautham Reddy And Bharat Kumar Reddy. He was born on 20th February 1935. His political entry was in 1972. He served as Chief Minister for few years 1990 to 1992. Between 1978 and 1983 he has done as minter for Revenue, Electricity, Agricultural and Industries. For the first time, he elected as MP (Baptala) in a tenure of (1998-1999). In 1999 he elected as MP from Narsaraopet also from Visaka in 2004. He elected to Rajya Sabha in 2009.
