Before the elections, Telugu Desam Party president N Chandrababu Naidu was compelled to go to the residence of actor and Jana Sena Party president Pawan Kalyan, to seek his support for the TDP and request him to campaign for the party. Now that the elections are over, there is a role reversal. On Thursday, Pawan Kalyan went to the residence of Naidu, reportedly to discuss “the latest political situation.” Sources said it was Naidu who had invited Pawan Kalyan for lunch as a thanks-giving gesture. Both Naidu and Pawan were of the view that the heavy turnout at the polling indicated that the TDP-BJP combine would come to power in Seemandhra. They also discussed the possible government formation after the declaration of results. May be, Pawan sought some share in power, if Naidu comes to power.
