After making a film with Mega family, Maruthi is trying hard to direct a movie with Akkineni hero, Naga Chaitanya. Maruthi has directed Ee Rojullo, Bus Stop, Prema Katha Chitram and Kotha Janta so far. Each and every film of Maruthi was successful at the box-office. His recent film Kotha Janta opened up with negative word of mouth and reviews, but the film managed to become a safe project for both producers and exhibitors. On the other hand, Naga Chaitanya is looking to work with successful directors as he delivered duds with new comers. His last film Thadaka was an above average grosser and the actor is eagerly waiting for their upcoming Akkineni multistarrer Manam. It would be interesting to see if Naga Chaitanya will give a chance for Maruti or not. Right now, Maruti has got better market compared to Naga Chaitanya and if the director can convince the hero with a good storyline, the project might hit the sets.
