Info Post

As the results day (General Elections) is approaching, heart beat has increased for many in Andhra Pradesh. Not only for the politicians, but also for the common people. Most of the surveys favored YSRCP in the beginning and said that TDP might give a tough fight but will still sit in the opposition. Yesterday’s Municipal Elections results and the numbers we are seeing today in ZPTC and MPTC, clearly states that there would be a neck-to-neck fight between TDP and YSRCP. Even the national media has predicted the same and said that Congress in Seemandhra will be in the same position as it is in Tamil Nadu. Both YSRCP and TDP are confident about their win in the general elections after the recent results. YSRCP cadre says that these elections were held before the poll alliance between TDP and BJP, there would be a huge loss for Telugu Desam Party as minorities won't support BJP. On the other hand, TDP cadre feels that poll alliance with BJP and Pawan Kalyan’s campaign was added after the municipal elections and that would be a major advantage for the party in general elections. Most of the national TV channels have predicted that both TDP and YSRCP will get 43 % each in this election. If that happens, then lots of things are going to change within a margin of 100 votes too. Well, there is no use to jump into predictions and it is better to wait till May 16, 2014 to know who will become the first Chief Minister of Seemandhra.
